Cover the concept of breathing, the stress response effect of diaphragm

  • Set yourself up for success with good posture
  • Be aware of your breathing speed
  • When and how to do this in everyday life

The 3 things you need to know about breathing

Posture (3 minutes)

  • Tip your pelvis forward some
  • Grip your feet to the ground
  • Make sure your upper back is off your chair
  • You’ll want to make sure your belly can expand forward
  • Show the trick with the sternum

Rhythm (3 minutes)

  • The idea is to calm brain function
  • Breathing can be varied, just try your best to keep on track
  • Breathe in for 3 seconds, hold for 1 second, and breathe out for 6 or 7 seconds
  • This can make you uncomfortable at first, so don’t stand up fast or do this while driving
  • If you cannot breathe out for 7 seconds, work at 5 seconds of exhaling to start

Application (3 minutes)

-Seated, standing,for sleep, for stress

-before meetings, to start the day, with a glass of water
